Whether you are traveling to central Vermont for quick trip or staying for an extended period of time, you will never run out of things to do. The area is home to a multitude of restaurants, breweries, outdoor attractions and activities, and so much more.
Hiking & Biking
Our inn is located within walking distance to the new Lamoille Valley Rail Trail, which is currently 93 miles of ADA accessible trail for hiking, biking, jogging, and much more. This is the longest rail trail in New England. The trail connects 18 towns from St. Johnsbury to Swanton.
Road biking is very popular in this area. Our location is perfect for that tour stop- over along Route 100.
There are many mountain biking trails located around the inn. Check out Vermont Mountain Bike Association for information on the many trails Vermont has to offer. Locally, we also have a few sports shops such as Chuck’s Bikes, The Great Outdoors, Green Mountain Sports, Caplan’s, and Power Play Sports!
There are also many hiking trails located around us. The Long Trail is the oldest long distance hiking trail in America, running along the length of Vermont. Hikers often stay with us along their quest to complete The Long Trail. Other popular hiking spots in the area include Elmore Mountain, Mt. Mansfield, and Prospect Rock.

We are located just minutes from Copley Hospital, Johnson State College, Concept 2, CDL Inc., and many others. Please contact us if you need a place to stay while making business contacts.
Breweries
We are located in the hub of multiple breweries popping up all over the state of Vermont. We are just minutes from Lost Nation Brewing, Rock Art Brewery, Ten Bends Beer Company, Soulmate Brewing Company and Kalte Brewing. Our neighboring town of Stowe hosts Crop Brewery and Von Trapp Brewing Company. Hill Farmstead Brewery, which was named as the Best Brewery in the World for 2015, is just 27 miles from us. Dining
Located right next door to us is The Charlmont Restaurant and Pub. The Restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner; the Pub is open evenings. Popular dining options in Morrisville are Railroad 10 Street, Lost Nation Brewing, Tacos and Taps Bar, and Moog’s Place. We also have some excellent pizza places in town: Hoagie’s Pizza & Pasta, Pizza on Main, and House of Pizza. Deb’s Place is a quaint breakfast/luncheon shop. Black Cap Coffee & Bakery is located in downtown Morrisville as well as Thompson’ s Flour Shop and North Country Donuts! Many fine dining restaurants are located in Stowe, 8 miles from our inn.

Ryder Brook Golf Course is a 9-hole course located in Morrisville. Morrisville also hosts Copley Country Club, another 9-hole course.
Snowshoeing/Cross-Country Skiing
We our located within walking distance to the Lamoille Valley Rail Trail, the perfect trail for snowshoeing and cross-country skiing. Craftsbury Outdoor Center is 17 miles from our inn; we are also just minutes away from the Catamount Trail, a 300-mile winter-use trail open to the public for skiing and snowshoeing.

Swimming
Our seasonal outdoor pool is available to all our guests. There are also several notable natural swimming holes in our area. Moss Glen Falls is 8 miles from the inn; Cady Falls swimming hole is located in Morrisville; and Green River Reservoir is located minutes from the inn, offering a place to swim or paddle.
